Quality Control Manager

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality control activities on construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have federal construction experience , strong knowledge of construction quality standards, and experience with the Three-Phase Inspection process . What You'll Do Develop and manage project-specific Quality Control Plans. Review drawings, specifications, and contract requirements. Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections. Coordinate testing and special inspections. Review subcontractor and supplier submittals. Track quality issues, non-conforming work, and corrective actions. Maintain daily QC logs, inspection reports, and project documentation. Support punch lists and project closeout. Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and other project teams. Ensure work meets contract requirements, codes, specifications, and quality standards. What We're Looking For 5+ years of construction QC/QA experience. Federal construction experience required. Experience with government projects such as USACE, NAVFAC, or similar . Knowledge of the Three-Phase Inspection process . CQM-C certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days. Strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and codes. Good communication and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Procore experience is a plus. Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred. Must be comfortable working onsite and outdoors. Ability to travel between project sites as needed. Project Travel & Support Candidates based outside the immediate project area may be considered depending on their location and travel requirements. Project-related travel support and per diem/stipend arrangements may be available based on individual circumstances and the final project arrangements.
