Cardiac Procedural Technologist

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM. On-call duties for 15 days over a six-week rotation, including every third weekend.

Job Description

Under the general direction of a physician, the Cardiac Procedural Technologist will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiological and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. The role includes ensuring procedure rooms are adequately prepared and maintaining par levels of all instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Monitor physiological and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular lab procedures.
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and instruments are available.
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Train new staff members on protocols and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current licensure or certification relevant to the Cardiovascular specialty.
• Ability to conduct and monitor cardiac procedures effectively.
• Prior experience in a cardiovascular lab or similar setting is preferred.
