Avante at Melbourne Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physicians' orders.\n

Qualifications: \n
\n
\n• Ability to assess residents with communications and swallowing disorders.\n
\n
\n• Ability to interpret and communicate results of assessments.\n
\n
\n• Ability to design and execute appropriate treatment plans.\n
\n
\n• Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.\n
\n
Education and Experience: \n
\n
\n• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.\n
\n
\n• Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for S.L.P.\n
\n
\n• Current state licensure or license eligible.\n
\n
\n• 0-3 years of long term care experience.\n
\n
Background Screening Requirement: \n
\n
\nThis position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.\n
\n
