ICU RN – Mixed Cardiac/Neuro/Trauma

Schedule - Ratios: 2:1 (days, nights, weekends) - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - Holidays: Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Assignment Details - Unit size: 26 beds (daily census ~20)

Requirements - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Trauma Level II experience required - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS - Charting system: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide critical care for patients with cardiac, neurological, and trauma-related issues. - Manage complex medical interventions including ventilator support, vasoactive medication titration, and renal replacement therapy. - Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Ensure safe administration of blood products and monitor for complications. - Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-operative care.

Compliance / Notes - Valid nursing license required on file (pending licenses not accepted) - Recent time off must be included at the time of submission - Pre-start modules average ~16 hours (non-billable) - Free parking - Scrubs: Royal blue or navy blue for RNs
