Industrial Maintenance Technician – PLC & Electrical Requisition Number: R237799 Company: American Girl Brands, LLC Location: De Forest, Wisconsin Address: 612 Burton Boulevard, 53532 Job Category: Company Services Responsibilities Inspect electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components on a routine basis to ensure functionality, code compliance, and hazard identification. Determine causes of malfunctions and develop maintenance or repair plans to resolve issues. Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components to maintain full operational capacity. Test systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to confirm safety and component compatibility. Review blueprints to understand wiring layouts and equipment functions for accurate service and repairs. Utilize PLC software/programs to diagnose conveyor and equipment outages quickly. Advise on equipment and component lifespans, recommending replacements when risks arise. Maintain records of all maintenance and repair activities, including supplies ordered and used. Ensure routine maintenance follows a regular schedule to reduce complex issues and lower costs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 3‑5 years of electrical maintenance or related experience. Strong verbal and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Relevant electrician certifications. Experience with PLCs and control equipment. Proven problem‑solving skills. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
