Location Henry County Administration Building Schedule Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Salary Range $71,349-$75,795 Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary media contact and public voice for the County and HCPSA across traditional, digital, and social channels. Create content: news stories, website updates, social media posts, and video. Attend regular meetings of the Board of Supervisors and Board of Directors. Write speeches, remarks, proclamations, and resolutions for elected and appointed officials. Collaborate with departments to organize and host public events and promotions that reinforce consistent branding and messaging. Advise Administration staff on communications strategy. Serve as the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) officer. Represent the County as its face in the community when leadership isn't available. What We’re Looking For A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, broadcasting, marketing, or a related field. Comparable training or experience may be substituted. Considerable experience in PR, social media, content creation, marketing, TV or radio production, or web design. Strong writing and speaking skills, and comfort with cameras, video editing, and Adobe Creative Suite. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
