Coastal1 Credit Union is seeking to hire a Teller for our Warren Ave Branch in East Providence. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background with cash‑handling experience. As the members’ first point of contact, the Teller develops member relationships while providing knowledgeable and courteous service. The role also includes helping members understand our products and services and enabling the use of self‑service tools. Education and Experience Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Prior cash handling experience Previous customer service experience preferred Job Responsibilities Provide excellent member service from start to finish with each member. Process member transactions accurately and promptly. These include withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, loan payments, cashier’s checks, money orders, and inquiries while performing transactions discreetly and confidentially. Follow established processes and guidelines in daily activities to do what is right for members and Coastal1 Credit Union, adhering to all applicable policies, laws, and regulations and completing assigned compliance training within required time frames. Assist members with general account questions within the scope of the role and refer to the appropriate team member for more in‑depth services. Prioritize learning about products and services and navigate internal portals to find answers efficiently. Perform other duties as required.
