Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Texas, United States. The technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, handling basic plumbing and electrical connections related to HVAC equipment, and complying with safety and environmental regulations. The role also involves communicating clearly with customers about service options, documenting work performed, and coordinating with team members to complete jobs on schedule. Technicians may be required to respond to service calls, work in varied indoor and outdoor environments, and lift or move equipment as needed. Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently. Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC installations, condensate lines, and associated fixtures. Experience with preventive maintenance practices for heating and air conditioning systems. Understanding of EPA regulations and possession of relevant EPA certification for handling refrigerants. Foundational knowledge of electricity, including safe wiring practices and reading electrical diagrams. Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar mechanical or industrial role. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and service documentation. Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills. Willingness to work on-site in varied weather conditions and adhere to all safety protocols.
