Key Responsibilities of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

• Serve as Charge Nurse every other weekend or as needed to meet unit requirements
• Administer insulin and cardiac drips proficiently
• Provide care for a diverse patient population including medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols while delivering patient-centered care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse

• Current RN license with Telemetry specialization
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required before start
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry
• Prior travel nurse experience and charge nurse experience required
• Recent experience with the EPIC documentation system (within the past 2 years)
