Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R). This role supports licensed practitioners by delivering essential patient care through both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients.

The MA-R performs patient care within their scope of practice, accurately carrying out provider orders and facilitating patient flow to optimize clinic operations. Responsibilities include documenting patient complaints, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining up-to-date health records in the electronic medical system.

Additional duties involve stocking exam rooms, assisting with treatments and procedures, maintaining cleanliness and infection control standards, and supporting team collaboration and communication.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Medical Assistant preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state Medical Assistant-Registered licensure or application within two weeks of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of MA-R duties and patient care techniques.
• Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

This full-time position offers 10-hour shifts within a 40-hour workweek. The role is based in a regional healthcare setting serving rural communities in the Pacific Northwest, providing a balance of privacy and access to urban amenities.
