Noble Dog Lodge is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and dog-loving individual to join our team as a Canine Specialist & Grounds Maintenance Technician . This unique position combines hands-on canine care with property and grounds maintenance to help ensure our guests receive exceptional care in a safe, clean, and beautiful environment.
Responsibilities
Canine Specialist Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs in daycare and boarding environments
- Monitor dog behavior and maintain safe group play
- Provide enrichment activities and positive interactions throughout the day
- Clean and sanitize suites, play yards, and common areas
- Assist with feeding and daily care routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for all canine guests
- Communicate guest observations and concerns to management
Grounds & Facility Maintenance
- Mow, weed-eat, edge, and maintain outdoor areas
- Keep the property clean, safe, and guest-ready
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Assist with landscaping, pressure washing, painting, and property improvement projects
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs
- Help maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the Lodge
Qualifications
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with lawn care equipment and basic maintenance tools preferred
- Experience working with dogs preferred
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Passion for providing exceptional care to dogs
