Senior Technical Product Manager

Technical Product Manager (TPM)Chewy is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our Inventory Technology team in Boston, MA. This role will focus on driving execution across critical supply chain domains including Forecasting, Inventory Planning, and Replenishment.As a TPM, you will lead the delivery of cross-functional technical programs that power how Chewy forecasts, plans, positions, and replenishes inventory across our network. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Science, Analytics, and Supply Chain business teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve in-stock rates, optimize inventory health, and enable fast, reliable delivery for our customers.You will operate at the intersection of technology, supply chain strategy, and execution, translating business needs into actionable plans and driving end-to-end delivery across systems and teams. This role requires strong program ownership, technical fluency, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a high bar for results.What You'll Do:Own and drive end-to-end delivery of technical programs across supply chain systems, from concept through launch and post-launch supportPartner with business stakeholders to translate forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment needs into clear technical requirements and execution plansCoordinate across engineering, data science, product, and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutionsManage cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving mitigation strategiesSupport architecture and design discussions by understanding system flows, data dependencies, and integration pointsEstablish and maintain program mechanisms including status reporting, roadmap tracking, and stakeholder communicationEnsure teams are delivering against prioritized business outcomes, adapting plans as needs evolveDrive continuous improvement through metrics, retrospectives, and operational rigorPartner with vendors where applicable, overseeing engagements and ensuring delivery against expectationsContribute to building a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high-quality executionWhat You'll Need:4–6+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Program Management, or related roleExperience delivering cross-functional, multi-system initiatives in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with supply chain concepts, particularly forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishmentStrong technical acumen, including understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and system integrationsAbility to translate business needs into structured plans, requirements, and milestonesProven ability to manage dependencies, prioritize effectively, and deliver results under ambiguityStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-makingExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or quantitative field (or equivalent experience)Solid SQL skills with the ability to query, analyze, and validate dataNice to Have:Experience working in eCommerce, retail, or supply chain technology environmentsExposure to inventory optimization, demand forecasting models, or replenishment systemsFamiliarity with SQL, data visualization tools, or analytics workflowsExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or ConfluenceExposure to machine learning or operations research applications in supply chainExperience working with cloud-based platforms and modern data architecturesYou'll play a key role in shaping how Chewy scales its supply chain capabilities through technology. Your work will directly impact customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.The base salary range for this role is $141,000 - $225,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.
