Work Schedule : Full-time, Monday through Friday

Position Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapy Technician to assist our therapists in providing top-tier care in a fast-paced, clinical setting. You will help patients with exercises, mobility, and transfers while ensuring a positive and supportive experience. Additional responsibilities include setting up treatment areas, operating therapeutic equipment, educating patients on exercise techniques, and maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential as you manage patient flow and contribute to a seamless clinic experience.

Experience :
Preferably 1+ year of experience in an orthopedic or outpatient physical/occupational therapy setting.

Skills :

• Patient Care : Assist with exercises, mobility, and transfers, providing a safe, positive experience.
• Physical Therapy Knowledge : Familiarity with therapeutic techniques, basic anatomy, and rehabilitation exercises.
• Technical Proficiency : Use of therapeutic equipment (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Communication : Strong verbal skills to guide patients and collaborate with therapists.
• Organizational Skills : Efficiently manage patient scheduling, documentation, and administrative tasks.
• Physical Stamina : Ability to assist with patient transfers and perform physical tasks.
• Safety Awareness : Knowledge of infection control, hygiene practices, and body mechanics.
• Teamwork : Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Attention to Detail : Ensure accurate patient documentation and progress tracking.
• Time Management : Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist physical therapists with patient exercises and mobility training.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy space and sanitize equipment.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques under the guidance of the therapist.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
• Assist with administrative duties, including scheduling and patient flow.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in healthcare or kinesiology is a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare or fitness is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment.
