Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Full-Time Evenings)

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our Level I Emergency Department. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment supported by strong clinical leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork.

About Us

• 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital
• Only Level I Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin
• Certified Chest Pain Center and Certified Stroke Center
• 220+ ER visits per day
• 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma bays

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for adult and pediatric patients
• Work closely with ED Providers, Social Workers, and support teams
• Participate in shared governance, department councils, and improvement initiatives
• Build skills in Stroke and STEMI activations
• Career path and specialty certification support
• Contribute to a team culture focused on making ED experiences "Better for Everyone"

What We're Looking For

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Previous Emergency Department experience of 1 year minimum
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and excellent communication
