Veterinary Medical Director Responsibilities

As our Medical Director, you'll serve as the clinical leader of the hospital while partnering with the Practice Manager and Regional Operations Manager to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, team development, and hospital growth. In this Veterinary Leadership role, you will:

• Lead and mentor Associate Veterinarians and veterinary support staff
• Foster a collaborative, positive hospital culture focused on patient care and client service
• Support veterinarian growth through coaching, mentorship, annual reviews, and professional development
• Develop and maintain medical protocols and standards of care
• Ensure compliance with state veterinary regulations and best medical practices
• Partner with hospital leadership on strategic planning and operational initiatives
• Drive clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Help recruit, develop, and retain outstanding veterinary professionals
