Senior Property Accountant

White Plains, NY | Real Estate & Property Management | Hybrid Schedule | $80-95K Our client, a well-established and growing real estate development and property management firm based in White Plains, NY, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This company manages a diverse portfolio of residential properties across the New York metro area and takes pride in maintaining high-quality, sustainable communities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries Oversee general ledger activity and ensure accuracy across multiple entities and properties Analyze financial results and variances to budget; provide insights to leadership Manage property-level accounting using Yardi software Assist with audit preparation and annual reporting requirements Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Develop and maintain Excel-based financial reports and tracking tools Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate, property management, or construction Proficiency with Yardi Voyager or Yardi Breeze required Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities CPA or progress toward CPA a plus Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Hybrid work schedule based in White Plains, NY Stable and growing organization with a long-standing reputation in the industry Opportunity to gain exposure to both property-level and corporate accounting Collaborative, team-oriented culture with room for growth #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
