About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing customized treatment plans that promote recovery, independence, and overall well-being for our patients. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, and develop effective strategies to address their unique needs. Your expertise will enable patients to develop the skills and confidence needed to return to their daily lives, work, and community activities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, and develop individualized treatment plans

• Implement and modify treatment programs to promote patient progress and independence

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, and provide guidance on home management and community reintegration

• Document patient progress, and maintain accurate and detailed records

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes

Requirements

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
