About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Description: This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse to work in a Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit consists of 3 Cath Labs and a total of 20 staff members. Day shifts are staffed by 8 RNs, 5 Techs, 2 Lead Techs, and 1 Clinical Nurse Coordinator. There are no night shift staff members. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. Equipment includes GE EMR-MacLab and Meditech. Typical procedures performed in the unit include PCI, Structural Heart procedures, and diagnostic caths. The ideal candidate will have an energetic and positive personality. Teamwork and collaboration with physicians are essential components of this role. Travelers will be scheduled according to facility policy. Every other weekend and holiday shifts will be included in the rotation.
