*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN HEALTHCARE SETTING ACCOUNTNG. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Accounting Manager, prepares general ledger reconciliations, completes internal and external reporting, prepares and participates in outside audits and trains/mentor staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepares assigned general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with departmental policy and procedures. Make recommendations regarding tightening internal control. Prepares for and participates in all internal and external audits as assigned. Perform analytical review and prepare financial and statistical statements as assigned. Completes all assigned internal, external, and regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory guidelines within the designated timeframes. Assumes a lead role within the finance team in setting high quality standards for policy/procedure compliance. Supports management staff by defining issues and prepares initial recommendation for management review and discussion.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting
• 3 years computerized accounting experience Experience using a spreadsheet application to complete complex analytical review.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point.
• Accounting in Healthcare setting.
