National Systems End-to-End Spacecraft Mission Operations Architect (Lead or Senior)

Position Responsibilities

• Manage Space Segment External Interfaces, including development of ICDs as required by contract
• Perform system requirements and verification planning and execution
• Maintain requirements trace and VCRM for system level requirements
• Develop and model Space Segment Intersegment CONOPS
• Develop and maintain System Design Documents (SDDs)
• Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering processes and tools to develop and maintain the System Architecture Model
• Perform system trade studies and System level analyses
• Develop Intersegment Test Plans, including requirements for demonstrations and test beds
• Support execution of System Operational test and evaluation activities
• Support system level requirements verification and sell‑off

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• 5+ years experience in systems engineering processes and tools
• 5+ years experience in system design, development, or test
• Experience with model‑derived CONOPS requirements development, interface control documentation, technical specification review, and architecture development

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
• 5+ years experience within the aerospace defense industry
• Experience interfacing with customers, program office, and across interdisciplinary teams
• Experience leading technical teams or projects
• Experience integrating Space, Ground, and User Terminal CONOPS

Security Clearance

Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). A clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.

Relocation is offered based on candidate eligibility. Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

Pay & Benefits

Summary Pay Range for Lead: $138,550 - $187,450
Summary Pay Range for Senior: $165,750 - $224,250
