Home Health Registered Nurse Service Locations: Waukesha County and Lake Country Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Schedule: Flexible shifts available Pay Rage: $40-$45 per hour Position Summary Here at BrightStar Care of Greater Waukesha and Lake Country , we are seeking a dedicated Home Health Registered Nurse to join our home health team. This role provides essential hands-on support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain comfort, independence, and safety. Ideal candidates are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities Deliver skilled nursing care according to individualized care plans Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing patient evaluations Administer medications, wound care, injections, and other clinical treatments Educate patients and families on disease management, safety, and wellness Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team Document all care accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards Promote patient independence and support positive health outcomes Qualifications Experience providing trach and respiratory care with precision and safety (Preferred) Experience with using a ventilator (Preferred) Experience with Infusions (Preferred) Current unencumbered RN license in the State of Wisconsin Bachelor's degree in nursing (Preferred) Certified CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility (Preferred) Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills Analytic/Critical thinker Strong clinical skills Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance and reliable transportation Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the client's mobility.
