Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Lake Worth, FL. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for facility Understand the respective PT board’s rules and regulations and comply within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Must have 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged to apply); 1‑year experience preferred State‑specific licensing and BLS required Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods Must be able to work in an acute care setting BLS and ABPTS certificates required; 2‑years’ experience may be required Salary: Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
