Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Location: Ohio

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Job Description: The Operating Room Surgical Technologist will work within a surgical team to assist in patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role includes scrubbing and circulating for a variety of cases, including robotic, GU, GYN, and general surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
• Ensure accurate counts of instruments and specimens.
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide excellent patient care.
• Take call during nights and weekends as required.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 18 months of recent OR experience required.
• Active AHA BLS certification is required.
• Must possess a permanent Ohio license at the time of submission; compact licenses accepted for candidates with effective dates of 1/1/23 or later.
• References required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from assignments within the past 12 months.
• Active certifications with no pending status required.
