PRN CT Technologist

This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services with a focus on patient safety, comfort, and quality. Responsibilities Responsibilities include verifying clinician orders, obtaining patient history, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring proper identification and documentation of studies. Technologists must demonstrate proficiency in equipment setup, radiation safety, sterile techniques, and image quality control. They are expected to respond to emergencies, maintain departmental cleanliness, and assist with clerical duties. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff is essential for explaining procedures and addressing concerns. Qualifications Qualified candidates require an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT radiography and CT certifications, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology experience, with preferred CT experience. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a team-oriented attitude are crucial.
