Civil Construction Cost Analyst

Civil Preconstruction Estimator- Nashville, TN Leader in the Civil Construction industry in Nashville TN is seeking a skilled individual to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in the intricate world of civil construction, facing both challenges and rewards.We need an experienced Civil Estimator to take charge of our Construction Precon Department in Nashville.As a Preconstruction Estimator, you will be responsible for creating competitive cost estimates for all our civil construction projects. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us secure work and successfully complete projects.Overview:Analyze project documentation to create detailed cost estimates.Lead the estimating and bidding processes for civil projects.Determine labor, material, and time requirements based on proposals and plans.Review subcontractor and supplier quotes.Create bid packages and present estimates to senior management.Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.Offer value engineering suggestions.Maintain cost data and develop estimating templates.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of estimating experience in civil construction.Demonstrated ability to estimate various civil projects.Proficiency in relevant software (Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK, Excel) preferred.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Keen attention to detail.We provide a competitive compensation package with benefits including Annual Bonus, Auto/Phone allowance, 401(k) Retirement with Matching Contribution, as well as paid PTO, Vacation, and Holidays.
