Details Hospital-based Operating Room unit Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours (7:00-17:00) with a rotating day off Call required Epic charting system required Accepts first-time travelers Exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties including vascular, gynecology, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, endoscopic procedures, urology, bariatrics, ENT, and thoracic cases Trauma work setting Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of OR experience required Epic charting experience required Additional Information Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Onboarding modules are completed onsite during orientation Former perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Travel pairs or groups not accepted No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-739465.
