Provide engineering support for manufacturing and maintenance. Prepare Instructions outlining operating procedures for manufacturing & the maintenance departments.Maintain and upgrade building and equipment systems – including vacuum pump, cooling tower, combustion and material handling systems.Recommend preventative maintenance procedures and frequency.Evaluate and coordinate opportunities to outsource or transfer production to sister manufacturing sites, including Morristown and Acuña, based on capacity, equipment capability, cost, quality, lead time, and overall business requirements.Lead technical and manufacturing assessments for potential product transfers, including process capability, equipment requirements, tooling, documentation, labor requirements, capacity, and readiness of the receiving facility.Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and sister-site personnel to develop and execute product transfer plans while minimizing disruption to customer deliveries and existing production.JOB SPECIFICATIONSAbility to read, analyze, interpret, and maintain building printsAbility to troubleshoot, create and maintain equipment drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC code.
