Duties & Responsibilities This position requires an individual to interact with potential customers and build confidence and commitment to our products and services. The ideal candidate will divide their work time between the store, visiting customers’ businesses or offices, managing field projects, prospecting for new clients, and networking within the community. The candidate must be a self‑starter, personally well organized, willing to create new business, and provide outstanding customer service and follow‑up. Visit potential customers such as property managers, commercial businesses, realtors, independent hotel and motel owners, and other types of businesses Build client relationships Answer questions from and provide information to customers about our company, products, and services Network regularly and work effectively with other store employees Creatively pursue new leads on your own Complete takeoffs and submit bids for projects Manage projects that are won from beginning to end Negotiate contracts Execute marketing programs Build a book of business that continually grows because of your follow‑up and client management abilities Belong to a variety of local organizations and business groups Requirements Tech‑savvy & adaptable: Comfortable using mobile and desktop tools. Training provided (Google Workspace, RFMS, Measure Mobile, etc). We’re going paperless! Reliable transportation: Required for job‑site visits across Central MD and Southern PA. Physical capability: Regularly lift and carry product samples in the showroom and on the job‑site (typically 10–20 lbs; sometimes up to 50 lbs). Strong communication & organization: Clear, proactive, and detail‑oriented — you manage multiple projects smoothly. Relationship sales mindset: You take a consultative, trust‑building approach and guide clients with patience and professionalism. Time management & self‑direction: Confidently manage your schedule and balance client needs with daily responsibilities. Integrity & accountability: You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and value doing what’s right — especially when it’s not the easiest route.
