Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy strategies for clients, addressing their unique mental health needs. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to groups, families, couples, and individuals, focusing on improving emotional health and stability. \n
- Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, tailoring methods to meet the specific needs of clients. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, working alongside other healthcare professionals to implement effective treatment plans. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) software to document sessions and monitor client progress. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, keeping abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health. \n
Your work will focus on providing therapeutic support to individuals and families grappling with mental health challenges, many of whom may face barriers to accessing care. You will develop crucial strategies to aid in treating a variety of mental health conditions, promoting resilience and recovery in diverse client demographics, including those affected by trauma, substance use disorders, and relational issues.
Qualifications\n- \n
- An active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas. \n
- A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's or Doctoral degree is highly preferred. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, specifically within a clinical setting. \n
- A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively establish rapport and foster a therapeutic alliance with clients from various backgrounds. \n
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to optimize client outcomes. \n
- Familiarity with EMR software and related technologies for efficient clinical documentation and reporting. \n

- Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable. \n
- A history of working with underserved populations, demonstrating versatility in treatment modalities to cater to a variety of needs. \n

- Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, reflective of experience and caseload. \n
