About the Position

Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. This role involves working the night shift from 19:00 to 07:00. The position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week. The unit has 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/postpartum beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:1 or 2:1. External fetal monitoring equipment is utilized in the unit. The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC. The nurse may be required to float to the postpartum unit as needed. Preferred certifications include ACLS and PALS. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
