C-Store Cashier - Day/Swing - 350

LOCATION: 9235 S. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89139 Position Overview As a Cashier, you are the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring every guest has a positive shopping experience. We are looking for a friendly, dependable individual to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer‑focused, communicates effectively, and performs well under pressure. A positive attitude, teamwork, and a strong commitment to service are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be able to multitask, stay composed in fast‑paced environments, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Customer service, retail sales and handling point‑of‑sale transactions where you greet customers and help them have a pleasant shopping experience are key to the role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service and greet all of our customers. Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring it is clean, neat, organized and provides a positive shopping experience for all. Handle accurate point‑of‑sale (POS) customer transactions. Stock and clean the store. Maintain cleanliness of the gas pumps and outside appearance of the store. Provide support to team members and promote a positive team environment. Qualification Requirements Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks at once. Dedication to integrity, teamwork and customer service. Maintain composure during uncertainty. Excellent communication skills. Previous POS experience, retail sales, gas station attendant or customer service is a plus. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Work cards required for jurisdiction must be provided prior to the start date. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Health Card Valid Alcohol Awareness Card Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Work Environment The work environment is moderate in noise level and representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Physical Demands Standing for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
