Licensed Sprinkler Fitter

We are hiring licensed sprinkler fitters to install, maintain, and repair sprinkler systems. As a member of our services team, you will be exposed to all phases of the project life cycle and will have the opportunity to help shape the future of The Dobbert Companies. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent required Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship required Valid Massachusetts journeyman sprinkler license required 2 – 15+ years of previous sprinkler work experience required, with willingness to continue education in the fire sprinkler field Physical dexterity required Valid driver’s license required Proper U.S. work authorization required Fluent in spoken and written English required Lives full-time on Nantucket or able to commute daily on 6 AM morning and 4 PM afternoon ferries strongly preferred Willing to travel up to 80% of the workweek (Monday – Thursday) and to live with coworkers in group housing if you do not live full-time on Nantucket or if you don’t have the ability to commute daily on 6 AM morning and 4 PM afternoon ferries Able to work “on-call” as needed QUALITIES Integrity and honesty Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic Comfortable in dynamic, constantly changing environments Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task Projects a composed professional image Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication / relationship-building skills Effective working with diverse personalities Team player Accustomed to working alone without direction Strong attention to detail Desire to continue learning and willing to attend company-sponsored and paid-for training programs COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive hourly wages, amount varies based on housing requirements Housing costs on Nantucket covered if live off Nantucket Ongoing, formal technical and business skills training Medical insurance 401K plan, with automatic 25% contribution required for prevailing wage projects To apply, email a cover letter and resume to View email address on click.appcast.io .
