Robert Half’s Full-Time Engagement Professionals Practice is looking for an Associate or Staff Accountant to join our DC based team.
RH Full-Time Engagement Professionals work with clients supporting all facets of accounting, expense management, and reporting. - Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the monthly and year-end close process.
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
- Reconcile credit card and expense reports.
- Assist with annual audit requests and provide necessary documentation.
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies or irregularities.
- Participate in process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Accounting
- 2+ years' in Accounting or Finance required
- Versatile software experiences including, Ethos, Intacct, SAP, Workday, Intermediate Excel, etc.
- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve challenges
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
