Job Title Cook Department Back of House, PT Reports To General Manager Wage Category Non-Exempt Overview We are Lifestyle Communities (LC). Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to restaurant standards. Follow recipes, portion guides, and presentation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accuracy and speed during high-volume service periods. Ensure all food meets quality, temperature, and presentation standards. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Maintain a clean work area and participate in routine kitchen cleaning tasks. Comply with health department regulations and kitchen policies. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least one (1) year of related kitchen service experience required. Physical Demands and Work Environment The employee is required to work with long periods of standing and walking throughout the kitchen and service areas, handle food and beverage objects, reach and extend with hands and arms, talk and hear, and occasionally climb, balance, stoop, crouch, and crawl. The job requires close and distance vision and the ability to focus. The work environment includes heat and steam. Location and Travel Position will be based in Nashville, TN, Brier Creek, NC, Pflugerville, TX or Columbus, OH with occasional travel to local stores.
