Certified Medical Assistant

Overview Position Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish/English) Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for provider visits. Obtain and document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and other patient information. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Ensure laboratory reports, test results, and medical records are available and updated prior to appointments. Educate patients and provide instructions as directed by the physician. Maintain examination rooms, medical supplies, and equipment. Perform instrument sterilization and support infection-control procedures. Monitor medication logs, emergency supplies, and expiration dates. Answer patient, physician, and pharmacy calls and relay information appropriately. Triage patient messages and coordinate communication between providers and clinical staff. Travel between office locations as needed. Required Qualifications Fluency in both Spanish and English required. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience obtaining and documenting vital signs. Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Strong communication, organizational, and patient-service skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a physician office, clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience.
