ABOUT THE POSITION

The Director of Pelvic Health is a full-time, salary/exempt leadership position reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation and is based at the Cove Street, Spring Lake Clinic. This role currently leads a team of three PT’s and one PTA, and develops and oversees the pelvic health program, with advanced clinical leadership responsibilities including expanding services and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based pelvic health therapy to a diverse patient population.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide direct patient care specializing in pelvic health, including treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, pre/postnatal conditions, and related musculoskeletal issues
• Oversee daily operations of the pelvic health program, including scheduling, documentation, and quality assurance
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, standards of care, and training for pelvic health services
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for pelvic health team members
• Collaborate with physicians, referring providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Lead community outreach, education, and marketing initiatives to grow the program
• Monitor patient outcomes and program performance, reporting metrics and improvement plans to leadership
• Support strategic planning and expansion of services, including staffing and equipment needs

Requirements:

• Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills; passion for education, collaboration, and improving patient outcomes in pelvic health; visual and auditory acuity to assess patients and observe treatment effectiveness
• Education & Experience: Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist required; degree from an APTA-approved baccalaureate/university physical therapy program with specialized training in pelvic health required; minimum 3 years of pelvic health PT experience required, 5+ years preferred; pelvic health certification (e.g., CAPP-Pelvic, PRPC) strongly preferred; prior leadership, supervisory, or program development experience preferred; CPR/BLS certification required (will train)
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently; 11–25 lbs. occasionally; 26–50 lbs. occasionally when transferring patients; over 50 lbs. occasionally with the assistance of another staff member
