Tool Service Technician

As a Tool Service Technician (Service Tech III) you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repair of complex tools in a safe and professional manner. You will work at branch or customer locations, handling mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, welding, and hoisting duties. Your work will support exceptional customer service and provide opportunities to progress to higher-level technician roles. What you’ll do Safely maintain and repair a variety of complex tools and specialty equipment. Perform intermediate diagnostics and repairs utilizing schematics and diagrams. Assist in training lower‑level technicians as needed. Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed. Travel to customer sites for repair or maintenance of rental or owned equipment. Assist in picking up and delivering equipment and parts to vendors and other company locations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 3‑5 years of experience repairing and maintaining specialty tools. Must own tools applicable to the position. Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools. Working knowledge of schematics and diagrams. Working knowledge of specialty tools, manufacturer warranty access, and work order/time accounting. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to coach and mentor less experienced technicians. Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
