Established (100+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for Workers' Compensation in Richmond, VA

An established Virginia-based firm with over 100 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5+ years of workers' compensation experience to join its team in Richmond, VA . This role begins with a manageable caseload to allow the incoming attorney to build experience, and the practice is supported by a cloud-based file management system with AI-assisted workflows gradually being implemented for greater efficiency.

Salary range $90,000-$125,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Possess 1-5+ years of workers' compensation experience
Hold experience conducting discovery preparing motions and pleadings and handling hearings
Demonstrate strong analytical communication and organizational skills
Show the ability to manage cases in a fast-paced and technology-forward environment
Maintain active Virginia Bar membership in good standing

Responsibilities
Manage a workers' compensation caseload from intake through resolution or hearing
Conduct written discovery and prepare motions pleadings and detailed case assessments
Represent clients in hearings and mediations
Collaborate with senior attorneys paralegals and support staff to develop evidence-driven case strategies
Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure exceptional service throughout the duration of their cases
Utilize cloud-based file management and emerging AI tools to support case efficiency
