Diverse Staffing is hiring Production Assembly Associates for a manufacturing facility in Batesville, Indiana. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers a consistent first-shift schedule, three-day weekends most weeks, weekly pay, and the opportunity to develop valuable assembly and manufacturing skills.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, assembling products, following instructions, and working in a team-oriented production environment.

Job Duties

• Assemble lighting product components using hand tools and production equipment
• Read blueprints, diagrams, work instructions, and assembly drawings
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met
• Package finished products for shipment
• Organize materials and maintain inventory within the work area
• Follow production schedules, quality procedures, and safety requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly work with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Previous assembly experience
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Experience using hand tools
• Quality inspection experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Production line experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and assembly facility producing lighting products
• Assembly-line environment with repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Fast-paced production setting with daily quality and production goals
• Frequent handling of small components and finished products
• Continuous standing, reaching, and hand movements
• Frequent visual inspections for quality and accuracy
• PPE may be required, including safety glasses and other protective equipment as assigned
• Overtime may be available based on production demands

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly
• Stand and move throughout the entire shift
• Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers for assembly work
• Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to visually inspect products for defects and quality issues
• Maintain production pace while meeting quality expectations
