Job Description Job Description Requirement: Role: DataEngineer Location:Long Beach, CA Duration: 3months C2H Interviewprocess: Phone and Video or In person Job Description: Top Priorities: 1.StrongData Modeling/Data Warehousing/Data Engineering (TOP PRIORITY) 2.ETL/SSIS 3.Azure (1yr preferred or basic knowledge)- also willing to take candidates with AWS experienceinstead of Azure. Perform akey role in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling,data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, statisticalmethods and database design. Assist IT leads to develop IT strategies and tooversee data architectural designs for implementation of cloud. Focus onenabling 1end to end journey from On-Premise to Cloud in hybrid architecture. Day to Day Job Duties: •Cloud dataarchitecture, design, research, testing and evaluation of new technologies thatimprove and enhance enterprise systems reliability, availability andserviceability. •Collaboratewith internal and external partners to ensure that cloud data architecturedesigns and blueprints align with the overall enterprise architectureframework. •Maintainknowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to clouddata architecture. •Ensurealignment of data architecture designs with business and IT goals/objectives. •Facilitateand participate in identification of cloud data solutions, options andfeatures. • Communicatesolution options to business owners/stakeholders (e.g. data architecturereviews). •Identifygaps between established standards and proposed solutions. •Maintainawareness of current state of enterprise data architecture and define futurestate of data architectures. •Share bestpractices knowledge related to cloud architecture, database design and datamodeling. •Mentor teammembers to assist with technical skills related to data architecture, datamodeling, database design, data security and data integration. •Create andmaintain data architecture design to ensure high levels of speed, effectivenessand availability of data across platforms. •Deep understandingof Operational Data Storage, Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts and DataLake. •Contributeto team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed. Excellentinterpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations,multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities. Top Skills: •7+ years ofoverall IT field experience required. •3+ years ofexperience in cloud data engineering, cloud migration, standardizing andbuilding enterprise level data architecture in hybrid environment required. •Deepunderstanding of IaaS and PaaS on cloud. •Deepunderstanding of industry patterns for Cloud Data Architecture and Data Lake. •Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills: •AzureCertification is a big plus. •Health careindustry experience is a big plus.
