Director of Nursing - Emergency

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as the Director of Nursing in our Emergency Department, located in Aiken. This pivotal role calls for a leader with a strong background in emergency nursing and management, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Emergency Department nursing team.Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency standards.Develop and manage departmental budgets, fostering efficient resource utilization.Implement and uphold human resource management practices within the department.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.A minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency nursing, with up to 5 years total experience relevant to the role.Previous management experience in a healthcare setting is essential.Current South Carolina RN license, along with CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.Proficient in fiscal management and knowledgeable in HR management.Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.This position offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a significant impact on patient care and departmental success.
