HBC Engineering Company is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support proposals, statements of qualifications, interview materials, and firmwide marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can translate technical project information into polished, client-ready materials for an engineering consulting environment. Job Summary The Marketing Coordinator provides day-to-day support for HBC's marketing and business development activities. Working closely with technical staff and leadership, this position helps manage pursuit deliverables, maintains qualifications materials, supports digital communications, and upholds consistent brand standards across offices and service lines. Key Responsibilities Coordinate proposals, statements of qualifications, interview presentations, and other pursuit materials from kickoff through final submission Develop and maintain resumes, project sheets, case studies, boilerplate content, and qualifications packages for firmwide use Format, edit, and quality-check marketing documents for accuracy, clarity, compliance, and visual consistency Work with technical staff to gather project information, team updates, differentiators, and client-facing messaging Support business development research, opportunity tracking, teaming outreach, and client presentation preparation Assist with website content, social media posts, internal announcements, and other digital communications Coordinate conference materials, award submissions, community outreach items, and event logistics as needed Maintain photography, graphics, and document libraries so teams can quickly access current marketing materials Track proposal deadlines, compliance requirements, and internal review milestones across multiple active pursuits Support firmwide marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives while keeping materials aligned with HBC brand standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field 2 or more years of marketing, proposal coordination, or communications experience; AEC or professional services experience is preferred Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills with close attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Illustrator Experience supporting proposal development, interview preparation, and qualifications packages is preferred Ability to manage multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and concurrent pursuits in a deadline-driven environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and administrative teams Comfort working with websites, social media tools, shared file systems, and cloud-based collaboration platforms Ability to handle confidential pursuit information and maintain quality control under tight deadlines Valid driver's license and willingness to support occasional meetings, events, or office travel as needed Paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick days) Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) match program Life insurance and supplemental coverage Professional development and licensure support Mentorship and career growth opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer.
