Relief Pharmacist

Position Description This position is primarily responsible for compounding and dispensing medications to fill outpatient prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other qualified personnel, and for ensuring control of medications and pharmaceuticals within the Pharmacy. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist. Pay Statement Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan. Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy, and certification by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
