I opened my agency in 1978 and currently lead a team of eight. Before joining State Farm, I was an agent with another insurance company. Outside of work, I'm a proud grandparent to eight grandchildren and a lifelong car enthusiast. I participate in a monthly Cars & Coffee event and even hold a road racing license. Our agency is beginning to expand its involvement in community events, and we're excited to continue building relationships and giving back as we grow. Our agency offers a 401k, health benefits, licensing cost reimbursement, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. As an Account Associate for Gary Merideth - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our office through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
