Compliance Director

Position Title Compliance Director Overview Responsible for directing foundational and strategic compliance activities within the organization, ensuring regulatory excellence and supporting management and teams. Key Responsibilities Direct projects, initiatives, regulatory sanctions, executive-sponsored initiatives, regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on‑site reviews, and risk assessments. Plan and conduct mock audits; provide audit training; manage audit evidence preparation; assess audit preparedness. Lead compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes; draft corrective actions and remediation plans; oversee implementation. Prepare reports and presentations. Lead complex investigations and document findings. Develop strategic plans, make recommendations to leadership; design and implement annual compliance plan. Build relationships with key leaders to identify and address compliance risks and failures; manage action plans to mitigate risks. Minimum Qualifications BA/BS and minimum 8 years of healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong leadership and managerial skills; ability to motivate and coach staff. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Medicaid markets and contracts. MS/MBA/JD or professional designation. Willingness to travel to work sites and other locations as necessary. Location & Work Arrangement Office-based 3 days a week with hybrid/virtual flexibility; alternate locations considered if within a reasonable commuting distance. Candidates not within commuting distance will not be considered unless accommodation is granted per law. Compensation Salary range: $115,920 to $173,880. Salary based on factors such as geography, experience, education, and skill level. Benefits subject to eligibility requirements.
