Culinary Supervisor

Support the culinary director in leading the food and nutrition team at a hospital Ensure patient meals are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal Supervise team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal matching their order and diet requirements Provide excellent customer service for patients, staff, and visitors Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently Operate necessary equipment to perform essential job functions Requirements Must be at least 17 years old Good personal hygiene and neat grooming in uniform Effective communication in English Ability to work well in a team environment Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience in culinary, foodservice, restaurant, healthcare, or related operations Background check required Drug screen required Proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. required Must pass facility vaccination requirements or have an approved COVID-19 exemption where applicable Prolonged standing and continuous walking Frequent stooping and bending Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to operate necessary job equipment Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and supervisory skills in a culinary environment, ensuring accurate meal delivery and exceptional customer service while adhering to health and safety standards.
