Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a classroom setting is highly preferred
• Comfort assisting with all aspects of student care, including toileting if required
• Strong skills in behavior management and supporting students with diverse needs
• Adaptable to working with a range of age groups, from early childhood to high school
• Dedication to fostering a nurturing, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and personal support to students under teacher and staff direction
• Assist students with daily activities, both academic and personal care as needed
• Contribute to classroom management by employing positive behavior strategies
• Support teachers in preparing materials, facilitating group work, and encouraging student participation
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment that promotes student independence
