Your Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or the capability to secure these within 90 days)
