The Counsel serves as a key legal partner to sales teams. They support contract review/ negotiations, review customer-facing materials, and provide practical, risk-based guidance to help structure deals and close business efficiently.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office locationfor a minimum of two days a week. Role Overview and Core Responsibilities This role will act as a key legal partner to the commercial sales teams selling fraud and communications solutions Partner and collaborate with stakeholders across the business Support customer contract negotiations and marketing material reviews Work collaboratively with various teams including sales, compliance, information security, information technology, operations, product development, privacy Advise internal clients on legal and business issues and the implications of alternative positions to enable informed business decisions Required Knowledge and Experiences Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited school required. Qualified candidates must have an active license to practice law and be in good standing in the applicable state(s) of employment by the position start date (or as otherwise permitted by state rules). Pay Scale Information: The U.S. base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $150,000 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
