Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer (Hybrid)The Electrical Engineer will use AutoCAD and REVIT to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for many types of commercial building spaces.In this role, you will:Perform basic electrical engineering calculationsLayout and design electrical distributionWork on lighting design and lighting controlsDesign and layout fire alarm and low voltage systemDesign systems in accordance with the NEC and IECCDesign projects from conceptual design to completionPerform site investigations both during design and during constructionYou will be a great fit if:Bachelor's Electrical Engineering or related (required)You have 3 to 5+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for various types of facilities (required)You possess a Professional Engineering license or have the ability to obtain oneYou have a desire to grow an office and companySkills/abilities:Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential (required)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsLeadership ability and entrepreneurial spiritSelf-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a projectLocation: Madison, WI (Hybrid possibilities after 90 days)Travel: Up to 10%Compensation & Benefits: The expected base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year or more depending on experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
